Pilot Extreme Weather Preparedness Grant Program
File No. ACS2026-SI-CCR-0009 – City-wide Report recommendation(s) That the Joint Committee of the Emergency Preparedness and Protective Services and Environment and Climate Change Committees recommend that Council: Approve a new pilot Extreme Weather Preparedness Grant Program as outlined and further described in this report. Delegate authority to the General Manager of Emergency and Protective Services or their designate to implement the pilot program as outlined in this report and to negotiate, enter into, execute and amend any agreements associated with this program. Direct staff to report back to Committee and Council in 3 years on the implementation of the pilot and any staff recommendations.
