File Number: OPLB-2025-1014-10.1 Report Recommendations: That the Ottawa Public Library Board: Receive this report for information; Direct staff to work with the City of Ottawa to prepare the 2026 Draft Budget, as further described in this report; and, Direct staff to implement the anticipated 2026 User Fees as of October 16, 2025 to allow rentals sold in 2025 for 2026 to use 2026 rates, as described in this report.

Library Services in Old Hunt Club
File Number: OPLB-2025-1014-10.3 Report Recommendations: That the Ottawa Public Library Board: 1. Approve the development of a branch to serve the Old Hunt Club neighbourhood, as further described in this report, and that: The branch be named the “Hunt Club branch / succursale Hunt Club;” The branch be classified as a local branch (as defined in the Facilities Framework); An estimated $750,000 (2027 figures), representing an estimated 8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTEs), be approved in principle; Staff be directed to request the operational funding requirement (staffing and other operations) in the appropriate years’ annual budget; The Hunt Club and Bayview bookmobile stops be decommissioned upon opening; The lending machines currently located at the Hunt Club Riverside Park Community Centre be decommissioned upon opening; and, The holds lockers currently installed at the Hunt Club Riverside Park Community Centre be relocated to another branch 2. Direct the CEO to negotiate leasing terms, as further described in this report, subject to future Board and Council approval.
