OPL Board Delegation of Authority Policy – Motion (Jessica Bradley, Chair, Governance Standing Committee)
File Number: OPLB-2026-0602-11.1 Recommendation: WHEREAS in the OPL Q1 2025 Financial Status Report, approved by the OPL Board on May 13, 2025 (OPLB-2025-0513-10.2), the Board authorized an increase to spending authority limits for senior staff; and, WHEREAS that resulted in a revision of the OPLB Delegation of Authority Policy (OPLB Policy 002, “the DOA Policy,” (Document 1, included herein) specifically the CEO’s delegated spending authority (Item 4) was increased to <$750,000; and, WHEREAS the Board’s authority should have been amended accordingly in the DOA Policy to align with this change; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the OPL Board approve a technical amendment revising the OPLB Delegation of Authority Policy, specifically, updating Item four (4) to reflect that the Board authority is required for expenditures >$750,000.
