Blackburn Hamlet Branch Lease Agreement
File Number: OPLB-2025-0610-10.3 Report Recommendations: That the Ottawa Public Library Board: Approve a Lease Agreement (“Agreement”) with J&D Ladybug Holdings Ltd. ("Landlord”) for 7,333 square feet of commercial space at 199 Glen Park Drive for the continued use of the Blackburn Hamlet Library (“Premises”). The agreement is for a term of ten (10) years commencing December 1, 2025, and ending on November 30, 2035 (“Term”), with a total estimated consideration of $1,614,704.72 plus HST for the Term; and, Delegate authority to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to finalize and execute the Agreement in accordance with the terms and conditions detailed in this report.
