School Street Pilot Agreement
File No. ACS2026-PDB-TP-0015 - Rideau-Vanier (12), Capital (17) Report Recommendation(s) That Public Works and Infrastructure Committee recommend that Council: Authorize the General Manager of Planning, Development and Building Services to enter into an agreement (including any amendments) with EnviroCentre to plan, coordinate, implement and operate two School Street initiatives during the fall of 2026 at the following locations: Osgoode Street between Henderson Avenue and Nelson Street, and Hopewell Avenue between Grosvenor Avenue and Bank Street; Direct staff to ensure that the agreement addresses closure parameters, a detailed traffic management plan, evidence of support including Councillor concurrence, proof of insurance, confirmation of funding, evidence of available staffing, and other conditions as outlined in Document 1.

Motion – Councillor S. Desroches – All-way stop control at intersections
File No. ACS2026-OCC-CCS-0060 - Riverside South-Findlay Creek (22) Motion That the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee approve: the installation of all-way stop controls at the following intersections: Solarium Avenue and Andromeda Road; Brian Good Avenue and Chorus Drive; and Kelly Farm Drive and Sora Way; the implementation of all-way stop controls at Solarium Avenue and Andromeda Road, and Brian Good Avenue and Chorus Drive, be subject to completion of all required accessibility upgrades to ensure compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA); and direct staff to coordinate the installation of permanent stop control signage at the intersections of Solarium Avenue and Andromeda Road, and at Brian Good Avenue and Chorus Drive, to be funded through Transportation Planning budgets, and if additional funding is required, through the Ward Councillor’s Temporary Traffic Calming budget; and direct staff to install temporary stop control signage at the intersection of Kelly Farm Drive and Sora Way immediately as an interim measure, pending installation of permanent signage and pavement markings, to be installed through Traffic Services’ operating budget.
Motion – Councillor G. Gower – Speed reductions
File No. ACS2026-OCC-CCS-0061 - Stittsville (6) Motion That the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee recommend Council: approve reducing the speed limit to 40 km/h on Abbott Street East from Robert Grant Avenue to Stittsville Main Street, and on Fernbank Road from Shea Road to Cope Drive, to provide continuous speed limits on these corridors; that the speed limit on Cope Drive, from Robert Grant Avenue to Angel Heights/Goldhawk Drive and from Shea Road to Fernbank Road, be reduced from 50 km/h to 40 km/h; that the future section of Cope Drive, from Angel Heights/Goldhawk Drive to Shea Road, be posted at 40 km/h upon opening to traffic, to maintain a continuous speed limit along Cope Drive; that the corresponding signage changes be completed as soon as practicable.
