Topic/Issue

Sent a letter to share our members’ concerns regarding Item 13.2 Motion to Mitigate Financial Impacts of U.S.-Canada Trade Tariffs on the City of Ottawa, (recommendation 2 re: procurement policy), which was approved by City Council on February 12, 2025. The City’s interpretation of that motion has led one of our members, a locally owned-and operated-small business, to be excluded from a recent City of Ottawa procurement opportunity.
