There is no development proposed, the existing structure and surface parking lot will support the new proposed uses.
The intention of purchasing the subject site is to operate an animal welfare hub on the site in the existing building. A Zoning Bylaw Amendment is to rezone the site from I1A to GM to permit the uses of "animal hospital", "animal care establishment", "retail store", "training centre" and "retail food store" to align with the services that would be offered by the Ottawa Humane Society at this location.
