Motion To: That the Rules of Procedure be suspended to consider the following motion in order that this additional sign of support can be displayed as soon as possible in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. WHEREAS on March 17, 2020 the Province declared an emergency under Subsection 7.0.1 (1) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act; and WHEREAS on March 25, 2020 the City of Ottawa declared an emergency pursuant to Subsection 4(1) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act; and WHEREAS, in order to maximize the impact we can have on saving lives and reducing the spread of COVID-19 extraordinary measures have been recommended by Dr. Vera Etches, City of Ottawa Medical Officer of Health, Dr. David Williams, Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, and Dr. Theresa Tam, Chief Public Health Officer of Canada; and WHEREAS one of the most significant ways that we can effectively manage the COVID-19 Pandemic is by having a "Team Canada" approach and continue to work a
