Motion To: That the Rules of Procedure be suspended, in order to ensure compliance with applicable by-laws for the mural on 405 Donald B. Munro Drive, to consider the following motion: WHEREAS a mural on the exterior wall containing the main entrance to the building is not permitted by section 142(3) of the Permanent Signs on Private Property By-law 2016-326; and WHEREAS the owner of 405 Donald B. Munro and the Carp Village BIA wish to commission artist Candice Wei to paint a mural scene to beautify the Village of Carp and represent the strong agricultural history of the area. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council approve an exemption to Section 143(2) of the Permanent Signs on Private Property By-law 2016-326, as amended, to permit a mural on the exterior wall containing the main entrance to the building, that is, the north wall at 405 Donald B. Munro Drive.
