Motion To: BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Rules of Procedure be suspended to consider the following Motion, due to the desire to move forward with this initiative after delays resulting from the summer legislative agenda schedule and the City's interest in supporting economic development opportunities. WHEREAS Telecommunication companies generally have a statutory right to use municipal streets, but this is subject to the consent of the municipality, with the process, terms and conditions for granting Municipal Consent embodied in a Municipal Access Agreement (MAA) and consistent with the five right-of-way management principles developed by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) as adopted by Council on March 28, 2001; and WHEREAS Community Fibre Company is a registered telecommunications provider with the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC); and WHEREAS
