Motion To: Council Motion No. 1/3 WHEREAS the 2014-2018 Council Governance Review recommends that the Community and Protective Services Committee, the Environment Committee and the Transit Commission meet eight times a year, retaining the ability to hold Special Meetings; and WHEREAS Members of Council wish to hear from the public prior to this change being implemented; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the recommendation that the Community and Protective Services Committee, the Environment Committee and the Transit Commission meet eight times a year, retaining the ability to hold Special Meetings, as outlined on page 48 of the staff report, be referred to the first meetings of each of these Committees/Commission for their consideration and recommendation to Council and to receive public delegations.
