PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
As part of renovations to the property, the Owner wants to relocate an existing outdoor storage
area from the east side of the existing commercial/industrial building to the west side, as shown
on plans filed with the Committee.
RELIEF REQUIRED:
In order to proceed, the Owner requires the Authority of the Committee for a Minor Variance
from the Zoning By-law to permit an outdoor storage area to be located 2.865 metres from the
westerly lot line whereas Exception [1937] of Zoning By-law 2008-250 states, in part, that all
areas used for outdoor storage are to be located a minimum of 200 metres from the western lot
line.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is the subject a current Site Plan Control
application (D07-12-14-0002) under the Planning Act.
