PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATIONS:
The Owner has filed Consent Applications (D08-01-15/B-00387 to D08-01-15/B-00389) which, if
approved, will have the effect of creating three separate parcels of land which will not be
inconformity with the requirements of the Zoning By-law. The Owner wants to construct three,
two-storey detached dwellings with one dwelling unit on each of the newly created parcels, as
shown on plans filed with the Committee.
RELIEF REQUIRED:
In order to proceed, the Owner requires the Authority of the Committee for Minor Variances from
the Zoning By-law as follows:
A-00365: 1736 St. Barbara Street, Part 1 on a Draft 4R-Plan submitted with the applications,
one dwelling
(a)

To permit a reduced lot area of 480 square metres whereas the By-law requires a
minimum lot area of 550 square metres.

A-00366: 1738 St. Barbara Street, Part 2 on the plan submitted, one dwelling
(b)

To permit a reduced lot area of 480 square metres whereas the By-law requires a
minimum lot area of 550 square metres.

A-00367: 1740 St. Barbara Street, Part 3 on the plan submitted, one dwelling
(c)

To permit a reduced lot area of 480 square metres whereas the By-law requires a
minimum lot area of 550 square metres.

THE APPLICATIONS indicate that the Property is the subject of current Consent Application
under as noted above under the Planning Act.
