PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
It has been determined that the lot known as 5935 Malakoff Road does not conform to
the requirements of the Zoning By-law for the existing agricultural and equestrian uses
on the property.
In order to proceed, the Owners require the Authority of the Committee for Minor
Variances from the Zoning By-law as follows:
a) To permit an agricultural use on a lot with an area of 8.95 hectares whereas the
By-law requires a minimum lot area of 18 hectares for agricultural use.
b) To permit an equestrian establishment use on a lot with an area of 8.95 hectares
whereas the By-law requires a minimum lot area of 18 hectares for an equestrian
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
application under the Planning Act.
