MINOR VARIANCE/PERMISSION APPLICATION

PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Owners want to construct a 2-car detached garage (6.4 metres x 6.7 metres), as
shown on the plans filed with the Committee. The existing metal shed will be removed
and replaced with the proposed garage.
In order to proceed, the Owners require the Authority of the Committee for Minor
Variances from the Zoning By-law as follows:
a) To permit a reduced front yard setback of 3 metres whereas the By-law requires
a minimum front yard setback of 9 metres
b) To permit a reduced easterly side yard setback of 2 metres whereas the By-law
requires a minimum side yard setback of 4.5 metres.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
application under the Planning Act.
