PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Owner wants to establish a 170 square metre in-house repair shop in the basement
of an existing six-unit row house, as shown on plans filed with the Committee.
RELIEF REQUIRED:
In order to proceed, the Owner requires the Authority of the Committee for a Minor
Variance from the Zoning By-law to permit an increase in the floor area of an accessory
use to 170 square metres whereas the By-law permits a maximum floor area for an
accessory use of 55 square metres.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
application under the Planning Act.
