PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Owners want to renovate their existing two-storey dwelling which will include constructing a
one-storey garage and family room addition along the south side and east corner (rear) of the
existing two-storey dwelling, as shown on plans filed with the Committee.
RELIEF REQUIRED:
In order to proceed, The Owners require the Authority of the Committee for a Minor Variance
from the Zoning By-law to permit a reduced combined interior side yard setback of 3.26 metres
(0.8948 on the south side and 2.37 metres on the north side) whereas the By-law requires a
minimum total interior side yard setback of 3.6 metres, with no yard, less than 1.2 metres wide.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
application under the Planning Act.
