PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Owners want to construct a 7.31 m x 7.31 m detached garage, as shown on the
plans filed with Committee.
In order to proceed, the Owners require the Authority of the Committee for a Minor
Variance from the Zoning By-law to permit a reduced distance of 25.48 metres from the
normal highwater mark of the Ottawa River to the proposed detached garage whereas
the By-law states in part, that no building shall be located closer than 30 metres to the
normal highwater mark of any watercourse or waterbody.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
application under the Planning Act.
