PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Owner wants to construct four retail buildings and a restaurant along the northerly boundary
of the property fronting on Ogilvie Road.
In order to proceed, the Owner requires the Authority of the Committee for a Minor Variance
from the Zoning By-law to permit a reduced landscaped buffer width of 0.30 metres along the
northern boundary of the property for a parking lot containing 100 or more parking spaces
whereas the By-law requires a minimum landscaped buffer width of 3 metres for a parking lot
containing 100 or more parking spaces.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is the subject of a current Site Plan Control
Application (D07-12-15-0122) under the Planning Act.
