PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
Earlier this year, an Application for a Minor Variance (D08-02-15/A-00077) was
approved. The Owners have now revised their plans to enlarge the second-storey
addition over the garage, as shown on plans filed with the Committee.
In order to proceed, the Owners require the Authority of the Committee for a Minor
Variance from the Zoning By-law to permit a reduced total interior side yard setback of
2.82 metres (1.90 metres on the east side and 0.92 metres on the west side) whereas
the By-law requires a total interior side yard setback of 3.6 metres, with no yard, less
than 1.2 metres wide.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
application under the Planning Act.
