PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATIONS:
The Owners have filed Consent Applications (D08-01-15/B-00119 and D08-01-15/B-00120) which,
if approved, will result in the creation of two parcels of land which will not be in conformity with the
requirements of the Zoning By-law.
RELIEF REQUIRED:
In order to proceed, the Owners require the Authority of the Committee for Minor Variances from
the Zoning By-law as follows:
D08-02-15/A-00116: 5850 Mitch Owens Road (Parts 1 and 2 on a Draft 4R-Plan):
a) To permit a reduced lot area of 6858 square metres whereas the By-law requires a
minimum lot area of 8000 square metres.
D08-02-15/A-00117: 5854 Mitch Owens Road (Parts 3 and 4 on a Draft 4R-Plan):
b) To permit a reduced lot area of 7325 square metres whereas the By-law requires a
minimum lot area of 8000 square metres.
THE APPLICATIONS indicate that the Property is the subject of the above noted Consent
applications under the Planning Act.
