PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
This application was adjourned at the September 3, 2014 Hearing to allow the Owner time to
address the functionality of the driveway in terms of accessibility to parking in the rear yard. The
Owner has filed Consent Applications (D08-01-15/B-00004 & D08-01-15/B-00005) to address
the functionality of the driveway and now wants to proceed with its Minor Variance application to
add an additional dwelling unit within the existing two-storey duplex dwelling to create a threeunit dwelling.
In order to proceed, the Owner requires the Authority of the Committee for a Minor Variance
from the Zoning By-law to permit a reduced lot width of 12.68 metres whereas the By-law
requires a minimum lot width of 18 metres for a three-unit dwelling.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is the subject of current Consent Applications as
noted above under the Planning Act.
