PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
In 2015, the Committee approved Consent Applications (D08-01-14/B-00428 to D08-0114/B-00430) for mortgage purposes. The previous applications did not indicate that the
existing mortgage had to be discharged. The Owner now wants to discharge the
mortgage for the parcel of land known as Phase 2 of the development for the proposed
retirement residence at 310 Titan Private.
CONSENT IS REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
In order to do this, the Owner requires the Consent of the Committee for a Partial
Discharge of Mortgage/Charge.
The lands subject to a discharge of mortgage/charge, shown as Part 1 and 4 on a Draft
4R-Plan, will have a frontage of 67.85 metres on Merivale Road to an irregular depth
and will contain a lot area of 6,602.4 square metres. This parcel will contain a proposed
retirement residence which will be known municipally as 310 Titan Private.
The remaining land, shown as Parts 2 & 3 on the plan submitted will have a frontage of
65.59 metres on Grant Carman Drive to an irregular depth and will contain a lot area of
8,564.8 square metres. These parcels will contain a proposed apartment building which
will be known municipally as 320 Titan Private (Phase 3) and an apartment building
(currently under construction) which will be known municipally as 330 Titan Private
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
applications under the Planning Act.
