PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Owners want to subdivide their property into two separate parcels of land in order to
create a lot for a surplus farm dwelling.
CONSENT IS REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
In order to do this, the Owners require the Consent of the Committee for a Conveyance. The
land to be severed will have a broken frontage of 178 metres on John Shaw Road and a
frontage of 847 metres on Galetta Side Road, and will contain a lot area of 1.36 hectares.
This parcel will contain the existing dwelling and four accessory buildings (an old barn, two
sheds and a detached garage) and will be known municipally as 4740 John Shaw Road.
The land to be retained will have frontages of 417 metres on John Shaw Road to a depth of
847 metres and will contain a lot area of 48 hectares. This parcel is vacant and will be
known municipally as 4710 John Shaw Road.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
applications under the Planning Act.
