PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Owner wants to establish an Easement/Right-of-Way over a portion of a residential lot for
the encroachment and maintenance of a manhole structure.
CONSENT IS REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
In order to do this, the Owner requires the Consent of the Committee for a Grant of
Easement/Right-of-Way. The easement land, shown as Part 3 on Plan 4R-29005 is landlocked
and will contain an area of 22.875 square metres. This parcel contains a portion of an existing
manhole structure which is part of the drainage system that functions to the benefit of the golf
course and the abutting residential lands.
The remaining land, will have a frontage of 15.25 metres on Stromness Private to a depth of
34.21 metres and will contain a lot area of 521.5 square metres. This parcel contains an
existing dwelling (currently under construction) and known municipally as 216 Stromness
Private.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is not the subject of any other current
applications under the Planning Act.
