PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION:
The Owner wants to enter into a long-term lease in excess of 21 years with Movati Athletic
(Nepean) Inc. for a portion of its property which will contain a proposed athletic club.
CONSENT IS REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
In order to do this, the Owner requires the Consent of the Committee for a Long Term Lease.
The lease lands shown as Part 1 on a Draft 4R-Plan filed with the application is landlocked, and
will contain a lot area of 3.716.58 square metres and will contain a proposed athletic club which
will be part of the existing Meadowlands Mall at 1585 Merivale Road.
The remaining lands, shown as Part 1 on Plan 5R-14714, will have frontages on the east side of
Merivale Road and on the north side of Meadowlands Drive and will contain an area of
63,451.82 square metres. This parcel contains a number of existing as well as proposed
commercial buildings known as Meadowlands Mall.
THE APPLICATION indicates that the Property is the subject of a current Site Plan Control
Application (D07-12-15-0140) under the Planning Act.
