Zoning By-law Amendment: This is a city-initiated zoning amendment being undertaken at the request of the Island Park Community Association. Covenants registered on title by the NCC requiring a 7.6 metre front yard setback that affect the subject lands are due to expire in 2020. The amendment will implement a minimum front yard setback of 7.6 metres for properties in R1 subzones fronting along Island Park Drive, Island Park Crescent and 302, 304 Harmer Avenue South. The Community Association has requested this amendment to ensure the streetscape character is maintained along Island Park Drive, despite the lapsing of the covenants. View application on ottawa.ca
