Zoning By-law Amendment: The purpose of the proposed zoning amendment is to allow the subject site to be occupied by an automobile dealership as part of a contiguous development of three automobile dealerships that is to extend onto the adjacent commercial site. The proposal is to change the zoning of the site from "General Industrial Subzone 7" [IG7 H(21)] to "Arterial Mainstreet Exception" (AM[1607] H(21)-h) to permit an automobile dealership use on the subject site and at the same time to adopt the same zoning presently in effect over the abutting commercial site. The holding provision (-h) pertains to several conditions to ensure the orderly phasing of the future development of the adjacent vacant commercial site on the corner of Mer Bleue Road and Innes Road.
