Zoning By-law Amendment: The Owner has filed with the City an industrial draft plan of subdivision and implementing zoning by-law amendment to permit the development of 3 industrial lots. Access to these lots will be via an extension to Dibblee Road. The public road will have a 20 metre right-of-way and end in a cul-de-sac. The Owner wishes to have two large 2.8 ha. (7 ac.) Lots at the southern and eastern points of the development to take advantage of the visibility created by Highway 416. The remainder of the site will be one lot fronting on the extension of Dibblee Road. The lots will be serviced by individual wells and septic systems. The City's Zoning By-law 250-2008 establishes this site as Mineral Extraction with an exception (minimum lot size) (Me [6r]). This zone permits licensed mineral extraction operations in areas designated as Limestone Resource Area in the Official Plan. The Me [6r] zone does not permit any industrial uses or development.
