Official Plan Amendment: Official Plan Amendment application to permit the re-development of the subject site. The proposal retains 5 of the existing residential buildings, municipally addressed as 2861 Baycrest Drive, 2851 Baycrest Drive, 2840 Baycrest Drive, 2850 Cedarwood Drive, and 2870 Cedarwood Drive. These 5 residential buildings range in height from 8 stories to 19 stories. The existing public roads will also be retained, and would be connected to new private roads and/or public roads. The proposed buildings range from 2 to 40 stories in height and some buildings along Walkley Road and Heron Road would contain commercial spaces at grade. The proposal estimates a total of 5,500 units at full build-out. Parking would be located throughout the site at or below grade. A 1.6-hectare public park is proposed for the central area of the site, and would be connected to the Sandalwood Park and the Heron-Walkley Park via pathways. View application on ottawa.ca
